About Us

Our Story

GoGreenWebDirectory.com started when founder Paula Keif began shopping for eco-friendly resources for her home. Turning to the Internet, she was surprised that there wasn’t a resource to find green products, services, and vendors local to her. That was May 2008.

After five years, GoGreen® has become the premier statewide resource for consumers looking to build, shop, eat, and live green in Massachusetts. We believe that taking action and making the simplest change in ones daily behavior make a difference to the environment.

actions green louder than words®

The GoGreen team is always working on ways to improve the Web site, directory, and Living Green content and finding innovative ways to support its members. It’s vital that members have a green marketing resource to improve exposure and help them expand their local reach, and GoGreen’s presence at green events, its role in the sustainable business community, and relationships with a number of partners has resulted in tremendous growth for the directory and its members.

On the GoGreenWebDirectory.com you will find local eco-conscious businesses, will learn about green events in your community, and will connect to green living information and news. Rest assured that that those listed and advertising on the directory meet green standards for their type of business. While individuals should always ensure that the green businesses they support are taking acceptable measures, all of the businesses listed on GoGreen have been vetted.

GoGreen is the place to find hundreds of hand-picked green business listings that are local to you.

Paula Keif - Founder & President

Paula believes that the simplest change in ones daily behavior can make a difference in protecting the environment.

The idea for a web-based green business directory came about during a house renovation project where Paula and her husband spent a significant amount time searching for local green businesses. As a result, Paula developed the Go Green Web Directory so that others looking for a healthy green lifestyle would have the information and resources readily available to them. The Go Green Web Directory is also a place where consumers and businesses can network and share ideas.

Paula’s passion for the environment and over 20 years of experience in both the non-profit and private sectors led her to this latest venture. Prior to GoGreen, Paula had a successful 10 year career working in Consulting Sales for two large ERP software vendors. She also spent 10 years working at Brandeis University in Information Technology. Paula served as Vice President of the Green Schools board from 2010-2011. Green Schools is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create greener & healthier learning environments through education and awareness.

Paula received a Master in Business Administration from Bentley College and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts. Paula currently resides in Marshfield, MA with her husband and son. She enjoys outdoors activities and spending time with her family.
